I have been so stressed, I have a huge project due on Monday (price quote for a 16 unit building) and I have had 3 weeks to do it. Did I do it. No, I waited til the last weekend. I HATE WHEN I DO THAT! So the good news is, within days, it will be done and off my desk.

Unless you sleep for 48 hours straight, you should be ok! :thumbs:

We are doing the tux fittings and final food tasting tomorrow, and going for breakfast for mothers' day. The restaurant we go to is family owned and gives live plants to the moms that come in. They always enjoy seeing my grandma, who comes twice a year, one for her birthday and once for mother's day. Omar gets his first paycheck from this new job today, and he's giving it all to meeeee :dance: I heard there's a macy's one day sale tomorrow.... :innocent:

Oh my gosh... I just talked to Moh. The man has not only fixed the vacuum cleaner (which was fast becoming an issue... I need to clean!!) but he cleaned the apartment AND already has dinner ready and waiting. I guess there really is an upside to waiting for the EAD to come. I just wish he wasn't so bored. What more could a gal ask for? Going home to dinner and clean house to start the weekend. WOOT. He's a keeper.

I have 5 orphaned 3 and a half week old kittens in my spare bathroom right now, their momma was killed by a dog so I am fostering them until they are old enough to go to homes, so I am going to spend my weekend making kitten porridge out of goat milk and baby food and feeding them every few hours. but they are SO FLIPPING CUTE that its worth it!

Awwww. Kittens are so cute! Doodle if you're out there I have another anecdote for you. I asked Moh over the phone what it was exactly that he found was wrong with the vacuum. There was a pause. Now I have learned that this pause usually speaks volumes. Finally he said "Well, it had a lot of those plastic Walmart bags in it." .....................!!!......................... (I had taken the thing apart myself and found NOTHING so where they were crammed is beyond me and how they got there.... sdkjfa;sdkfj;asdkjf) I said, "Uh. Ok. Mohammed?" ... and he promptly changed the subject. lol
