I received this email yesterday.. I really dont understand because my name is spelled correctly on the application.. I went back and look at the spelling.. Im so confused what this mean.. Have anybody ever experience this before..

Well, you either asked for an error in name to be corrected, or USCIS noticed an error on their part -- on your name, and they corrected it. Nothing for you to worry about, and as the update says, no action required from you.

DONE FOR TWO YEARS!!! ;)

 

Filed everything ourselves with no RFE's or delays.

 

CR1 for Child under 21 (20 at time of filing)- Filed by LPR Spouse for his son

4/12/20   NOA1 rec'd

10/14/21 (havent heard anything... when do i start to get worried?)

9/15/22 APPROVED! Now to wait for NVC and interview....

I remember one of the people running scans from earlier months saying that "Name Updated" changes usually mean some more substantive activity soon, because they're looking at your case.

Yes, that is what the past history has indicated. THat will be  receiving your approval tomorrow.
