NVC checklist

I just received a checklist from NVC that they're missing the most recent tax transcript for my joint sponsor. I know I sent this in but I guess maybe it was lost? Also, they've said they don't want me to send them the transcript, they would schedule the interview without it and I would just have to give it to my husband during the interview. Has anyone had this happen? Also, does this mean we're almost done with the process or could it still be a really long time until the interview? Thank you!

It happens.  Depending on country, you're probably looking at an interview in September.

It is very common for them to schedule an interview and instruct the applicant to bring the missing document to the interview.  You should be happy.  Many times (depending on the nature of the document), NVC requests the document to be sent in to them.  In our case, it "reset the clock", and delayed our case by 12 weeks.

It is almost the norm now to have missing docs that you can take to the interview with you once the letter/notice advises as such. Good luck to you and yours!

No worries, they will schedule you for the interview. You should hear from then in the next 4:8 weeks!

This happened to me , 2017 IRS TAX transcript wasn´t avaiable by the moment of submitting docs to NVC, on July 2 status changed to At NVC (CC) and I receive a checklist on July 3 that says bring it to the interview... and on July 10 another letter saying that they were working for the Interview date with the consulate,a nd on July 13 the Interview Letter....
