Good day everyone! I had my medical last July 9 and interview at the embassy on the 12th. Thankfully, I passed and now waiting for the visa to be delivered here in Maasin City, Southern Leyte. I would like to ask anyone who has an idea or have to wait for their visas too from the Visayas region, how long did it take? Thanks for your replies. God bless us!

Have all your documents. Smile and look the CO in the eyes when answering their questions. Be truthful and short with your answered.  Last be confident with your answers. Good luck.

Thanks so much Greenbaum! I did try the 2GO tracking and it says it is "in transit". On the CEAC website, I have some trouble tracking it there. Is K1 visa non immigrant or immigrant? I tried to click immigrant and it says my transaction is invalid. I tried non immigrant it just loads forever, doesn't work..

Hello, using the 2GO tracking with my case number it told me visa is "in transit". But in another link using UID, it says reference number is invalid. Which is the real tracking number? Thanks!

Thank you for this great information and help @Greenbaum. My Filipina completed her CFO and medical with medical records in hand last week. We should be good to go for getting approved on 7/23/18. It's great to hear the visa can be received as fast as 5 days. I have heard of someone getting theirs in 3 days in the Visayas. If it takes longer it won't be the end of the world as we are so thankful the process went as smooth as it did.

The K-1 process is quite strange. For a time, it is both a non immigrant and immigrant visa type. That is why the links send you the process for immigrant which would be the I-864 even though it truly is a non immigrant visa requiring I-134. As you go through the stages, within the NVC system you look up your file under immigrant. It stays that way until after approval and ready for issue. At that point, it changes over to non -immigrant. It truly is a non immigrant visa with immigrant intent.

MNL # is one of the numbers to try with 2GO for tracking, along with the UID and passport number, never know which one will work with 2GO. I have also heard that you can use the DS-160 barcode but don't know how true that one is. Seems strange that you could but who knows. Give it try.
