Planning - Domicile Related and other queries

Hi all,

Hope everyone is (or will in a while) have a good Sunday.

We have submitted the I130 and are preparing and planning for the next stage. I do have a couple of questions, if anyone can help. I know the domicile question has been discussed quite a bit, but might need some specific advice –

Background –

-  We both live and work abroad. My wife is the USC petitioner.

Questions

1.  My Wife (the petitioner) has her US home address (her parents house) on her credit card, she has maintained her driving license, voting and bank account, all with the same address. We have started depositing money in her US savings account to show that we planned for the move. We’ll request her parents (her dad will be our joint sponsor) to give us a letter, saying we’ll be staying with them till we find our place. With all the above, does applying for a job show still be essential? The reason is my wife is a teacher and they only start recruiting 4 – 6 months before the new school year. According to the forecasted timeline, we might get our NOA2 in Oct/Nov

2. My wife had applied for a job 2 years back in the US and she had got the offer letter. But since the process for the spousal visa was going to take long, we decided to move to a new country together. Can that be shown as an intent to domicile with a mention in the covering letter of why she did not accept the job?

3. My father in law (our joint sponsor) is a lawyer. He is also 70. Obviously the income varies year to year. He easily makes the min guideline. But due to the variable income and ag, could that in anyway be an issue if he is a joint sponsor?

4. I work in marketing, and I possibly might have to look at NY or Chicago for my field of work. If my joint sponsor is in TN and my wife and I intend to work in any of the above places, would that be an issue?

Would appreciate any advice. Thanks and have a great day everyone.

Cheers

Should be fine.

Not really applicable

As long as it doesn't vary below the minimum, it should be OK.

Not an issue unless you intend to live separately from your wife.
