Those people shouldn't even be submitting anything. They're the problem. This is the solution. So they can deny them right away and stop wasting our time.

Yes, I 100% agree with you

I fell like the Howard Stern of Visajourney, I am not sugercoat everything and be gentle in my words, I am speaking in terms of reality

The only people that this is affecting are those that put the very bare minimum into a petition and then submitting it. They are the ones that come on here that get RFE's for not submitting evidence that is common sense needed in a petition because they think that bringing all the evidence to the actual interview is better than front loading the petition. All of this time spent sending and receiving RFEs is better spent on petitions that actually have everything put together the first time.

Totally agree 👍

Probably because our entire world has turned into some kind of fluffy cloud society where it has become ugly to state the truth. We need safe spaces, protection from "triggers" and oh my gosh you're racist if you make a joke about another person's race. We used to have funny black comedians making jokes about white people and white comedians making jokes about black people and now suddenly it's offensive. I believe it used to be called a joke?

Oh well, back on topic before I start another rant...

I agree totally, I can not sugarcoat anything, as you will see from my posts. Heck, do you remember the dean Martin roasts or the movie blazing saddles, they could never do that in today world.

I did not. I was never into roasting. In my own personal opinion roasts usually go too far (yes, I know that's the point) and I choose not to watch them. But I don't see why it shouldn't be a problem if both parties are okay with them.

But I do believe this society is going down the drain because we can't handle anything negative. How are these people who need safe space going to make it in the real world?

A majority of people cannot handle it in the real world. I have tried to hire some younger people for my business and they demand more benefit than I get as the business owner.

it is very sad indeed.

Well, I was more thinking about people who can't handle being told what to do and who get talked to aggressively when they mess up.

When it comes to benefits... Sorry, I am from Sweden. I am all for increasing benefits for workers in this country. Especially extend the paid maternity leave for women. I don't think a woman should have to leave their baby home with a nanny when it's only a few weeks old and still should be creating a bond with the mother.

Though since you're not the lawmaker they're definitely barking up the wrong tree.

No, but I agree. I have one woman in my office and if she had a baby, I would try to treat her correctly.

that is just me tho, I am a family owned business and plan to stay that way..... we take care of our own

But what does this mean when USCIS seemingly loses information and therefore issues an RFE?

For example, we heavily frontloaded our K1 with evidence of our relationship and still got an RFE asking us to prove that we have met in person and we are pretty sure USCIS lost part of our packet or something.... So now would this just be denied? Seems quite silly.

Not really, you say you are pretty sure, are you 100% sure? Stuff happens on both side, petitioner and uscis.

if you did send everything, well then call them and raise heck with them.

Yes we just resent the same information with a table of contents and beefed it up. We lived in England together for a year and on the original application, provided our visas to live there and diplomas from our masters degrees there as well as passport stamps, photos, etc. And they still told us no evidence we had met haha. It seemed like a mistake or they wanted us to reiterate ourselves, so we sent the same information with letters from family members and more photos and the approved it.

This was a while back and we are past it but it makes me wonder the capabilities of USCIS to even adjudicate an application....

Yeah, with the new guidelines I would assume it would be denied because it is clear you did not send in any evidence of actually meeting. You only proved both of you were in England. You had nothing that showed you actually lived together. Proof of living together would be stuff with a joint address on them. Like both names on a lease or similar.

You don't have to live together to get a K1 visa. Having met once in person is the only requirement.

Yep, what people think and actually sent are 2 different things
