The memo was issued on Friday. How can this be old news? And even if it was old news, perhaps others had not seen it yet.

I just counted 6 threads on this so far. If you want important news from USCIS, sign up for their Visa bulletin on their website. You get all the important stuff long before some lowly desk jocky at CNN gets tired of playing Minecraft and actually stumbles across something he thinks is news.

I can't figure out how to do this for specifically visa issues???

There have been at least 5 or 6 new threads regarding this......at least.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

" "Read together, this means one thing: You better get it right the first time," he wrote in a series of tweets on Sunday. "As an immigration and citizenship lawyer, this effectively means the system just got a lot more unforgiving. Even a simple, straightforward application, one that might be considered 'routine' -- can no longer be so considered."

This policy change is great news for attorneys......more scared filers equal more money....

Ugh, just read the directions and file the petition correctly the first time, there will not be any issues. The only reason I can see this being an issues is for the people that are trying to play the immigration system.

and please as I have mentioned several times, please do mutiple researches for information, do not rely on one new source

Those people shouldn't even be submitting anything. They're the problem. This is the solution. So they can deny them right away and stop wasting our time.
