So the uscis isnt issuing rfe's or noids anymore starting sept 11th!

This stuff is so frustrating and this president isnt making anything easier.

Is their anything els we should know about? Has anything els changed that is going to effect us?

I need my mind eased!

I think Isn’t is overstatement. The policy so far reads as initial evidence and eligibility.

so basically as long as someone followed the instructions and it wasn’t a placeholder application, they will be issuing rfes as required. Such as if they need more evidence that two people met than what’s provided already with the application etc.

Oh ok. Im going back for a second visit in january before we file anything.

I will have plenty of evidence

Yea don't freak about this whole thing like some. It actually could help stream line the process. You'd be amazed how many petitions sit and hold up the process because of an RFE to prove the people met within two years....when they hadn't.... That's like one of the two main requirements and people ignore it(and a lot don't understand what it means even somehow).. it happens, so this could actually speed things up.

Hello Everyone,

is it true if a request for initial evidence sent the clock reset to 0? after we waited 112 days for our EAD, we received an RFIE yesterday. Are we going to have to wait another 90 days after we submit the RFIE?

Thank you.

Yasser

As noted, unless you have a complicated case, yes.

Nobody here knows all your circumstances, so there's no way to know for certain if this applies to you. But I would suggest reading through the guides and instructions either way...even if you end up using a service to help, it's your case and being actively involved is the absolute best way to avoid issues.

This has been heavily discussed. Can't find the "mega" thread on it right now though. RFE's wil still be given, this just allows USCIS to reject applications missing major items instead of holding up the process for others. Immediately blaming someone else for their own mistakes is unreasonable and honestly people try to do it too much. Ensure your packet and information is done correctly the first time and avoid issues. Take personal accountability. Simple stuff.

Well said!  It’s about time we get the rotten apples out so we can focus on welcoming qualified immigrants, hopefully a little bit sooner. Thanks for all you add @Ben&Zian

P.S.  We got our green card today!
