Giant baby Trump balloon floats over London in protest

LONDON — A giant balloon depicting U.S. President Donald Trump as a screaming orange baby flew over London Friday as tens of thousands marched through the streets to protest the American leader's visit to the U.K.

The diaper-clad infant, with a quiff of hair and a mobile phone for tweeting, was the centerpiece of demonstrations protesting Trump's policies on issues ranging from immigration and race relations to women and climate change.

"Depicting Trump as a baby is a great way of targeting his fragile ego, and mocking him is our main motivation," said Matthew Bonner, one of the organizers. "He doesn't seem to be affected by the moral outrage that comes from his behavior and his policies. You can't reason with him but you can ridicule him."

I don't think Trump cares about giant blow up effigies of himself. So long as he is the news, I honestly believe he is perfectly content. In fact, the more negative stories there are, about Trump in the news ironically serves Trump's agenda, in that Trump has a large portion of his followers brainwashed into believing that he is the victim of a vast liberal media conspiracy.

The balloon wasn't "giant" and there weren't tens of thousands of people. Maybe 1000 if that.

Friends of mine in London have said it was probably over 200,000 protesters.

If you believe after looking at the pictures yourself there were that many people there I have a bridge to sell you. I guess if you believe the Russian collusion conspiracy theory you will believe anything you are spoon fed.
