My package arrived today, my own visa is fine, however my sons has a spelling error under 'annotations' where it says I have parental rights, it has my name listed as exampl ename instead of example name. Will this be an issue? The thought of sending it back.... ARGGH

P/A EXAMPL ENAME

FATHER

All other information is correct

That is so obvious what the error is I can't see it being a problem. The information is correct just a space is in the wrong place. Contrary to popular belief immigration officers have been known to exhibit common sense.

I think you should be fine too since it's just a simple spacing error and not them misspelling your or your sons name.

Don't you wish we all had some way of giving THEM penalties for their mistakes? Oooh, I wish we could!

Oath, glad to hear you got your passport back and just wanted to say "Congratulations!" and wish you the best for the future :)

And here was me ready to book tickets for Monday :P

I agree that I don't think this mistake will be a big deal, especially as it's an obvious spacing error (one that I cannot believe their typist overlooked before sending) but I know my hunny is concerned about it.

I know my UK spousal visa had my maiden name spelled wrong and I never noticed it (a Q instead of a G of all silly things), and neither did any immigration officers
