Tomorrow's my InfoPass Appointment and I am excited, what are they like?

The reason I am going is because I went 3 months ago to see why card didn't arrive in the mail 2 weeks after my fingerprints.

They told me to make an appointment in 3 months, and this is it. I know I mentioned this a couple of times but I don't want to get anyone lost.

When I had my AOS interview the officer could not approve me because my fingerprints were not done. He said that after my fingerprints were taken (I had the appointment the following week) my card will arrive in 2 weeks. So i took my finger prints and got a bunch of touches from the day of my fingerprints (Jan 17) to Jan 28. Since then, nothing. I have no criminal history, no tickets, nothing.

That is why I am going, I hope they approve me right in the appointment... does anyone know if that's possible?

yes go... you can find out why you don't have your green card yet.... if all you were waiting on was biometrics go you may get lucky....

i just came back from my appointment...

He said there's an "administrative review" left... and without that, I can't be approved.

He said if I haven't heard anything within 4 months, to make another appointment.

ARRGH!! @#&(#$@!@#*(*

Sorry for what happened. With USCIS, you can never tell what they're up to. I have an infopass appointment for next week 5/18/07 to find out what's going on with my case. It hasn't been touched since 2/1/07. At least you know you're not stuck in name check like me. Good luck.

sometimes it takes an infopass appt to get them to realize they're not doing anything on your case when they should have... got left on someone's desk under other files or the monkey hid it on them....
