Filling out form i-131 permission to travel

So I'm filling out the permission to travel document to go along with my fiance's AOS application and I noticed there's not a separate place for a mailing address there's only a spot for a physical address. We do not have mailboxes in our apartment complex so I have to have them send it to my PO BOX. I'm conflicted on what to do....put the mailing address in additional information or put the mailing address in the physical address and add our physical address in additional information.

Recently? I haven’t got any RFE and they have already sent mine to my local office to be scheduled for an interview. I can’t remember what I did. I’ll have to go pull the copy of it and look.

I just checked my copy and I put our physical address in the main spot but more in the back under the "in care of" I put our PO Box. Funny I believe they attempted to deliver it to our physical but we have no mail box because it's an apartment but they corrected it and resent it to the PO Box.

Maybe you'll be getting yours soon!

Hey guys,

Let me ask you something..

Do I have to file the form I-131?

I have no intention to leave the US for the next 9 months and I'm assuming I'll have my green card in hands by then.

So do I really need their permission to travel?

Just go ahead and do it because it’s free. You don’t HAVE to have it but just in case an emergency does happen you know you’ll have that reassurance Incase you don’t get your green card. Plus, green card are taking quite a while to get right now. Most people wait over a year for an interview.

Good luck and if you have any questions message me and I’ll help if I can.

I would not assume that.... It's free to file, a page to fill out..... As far as I heard in Saint Louis AOS interviews are pushing a year nowdays...

PS: Welcome to STL
