NVC Electronic Processing

I am in the process of getting our IR-1/CR-1 for an I-130 case. The NVC received my case about 2 weeks ago, and I am calling about once a week to get a case number and the IIN. When I called they told me that my case was an Electronic Processing Only case. What does this mean? And how will it affect the processing time? Thanks.

It means you'll be uploading your documents online instead of mailing them in. It's much faster! As soon as you get your case and invoice number you should be able to access it, pay the fees, and get started after the payments clear. After uploading documents and filling out the DS-260 VJ'ers are reporting anywhere from 5 days to around 2 weeks for documentary approval. Took mine 2 weeks.

The flip side unfortunately is you will wait a while to get the Case # and IIN. Most people report ~8-12 weeks currently.

Hi today I called nvc they told me same thing do you how long waiting time

It means once the NVC assigns you a case number and an IIN you  will be submitting all of your documents online. After you upload all of your documents, then you will get a document qualified email notice. From that point on it could be 2-3 months before you receive an interview date.
