are you talking about i485 and i765 together ? because that dosent make any sense! If you already have conditional green card then you need to file I761 to remove your conditions. And if you don't have conditional green card and your are about to apply then you need to file i485 and I765 together also know as concurrent filing..

no I-751 to remove conditions and I-765 EAD renewal, we are filing at same time so USCIS website says if you file EAD renewal with C-9 category then you don't pay renewal fee so I thought they should be mailed together, but each has different address to submit to

if you are at the I-751 stage, that means you an LPR already. You just need your conditions removed.

So...why do you think you would need to apply for I-765 at this point?...

This is from I-765 instruction:

"If you are a lawful permanent resident, a conditional resident, or a nonimmigrant authorized to be employed with a specific employer under 8 CFR 274a.12(b), do not use this form."

We applied for the renewal of EAD and the Remove Conditions but both were returned for the wrong fee amount. I am not sure if that is because we included the biometrics fee, the instructions are so confusing, but you are saying I don't have to renew the EAD?

If you are at I-751 stage (ROC), when no, you don't have to apply for I-765, Employment Authorization.  And it's clearly stated in the I-765 instruction. p.1

You just need to apply for I-751.

Good luck!!!
