Just Married!!

On May 4th, Joel and I finally got married! We went all the way down south to John Brooks Beach, Ft. Pierce - FL to have the wedding because we love the beach in Florida, and also because most of Joel's family reside there . I attached a picture of our wedding....and that guy in the middle is a Notary... I didn't know a notary can marry people in FL haha... AND, ya that's indonesian wedding dress that I was wearing... Oh and one more happy news is that both of my parents got their tourist visa without any hurdle at all..thank God...so they managed to attend our wedding in Florida and that meant so much to both of us . We are also happy that now we have 3 pairs of parents LOL...(Joel got 2 pairs)...and they all get along so well...lovely!

Well, just wanna let you know that getting the marriage license in Brevard County, FL without SSN was easy peasy (cost like 93 bucks or so..ack), and when I went to the SSA office in VA Beach to apply for my SSN in my marriage name, it was easy too. The people there were really friendly, and definitely know what they're doing. I got that impression the first time I visit them (before we went to FL) to ask about how to get SSN etc etc. I have read that some people on VJ had problems applying SSN after marriage so I was a bit worried...but they did not even take 1 sec to think before answering that it's no problem at all. I will even get a card that says I'm allowed to work =D iiieeeiii!!! The only problem was...I had to sign the printed out info about me in my married name. LOL!! I haven't practiced!! I guess I need to work on that !!
