well, HI! My name is Randy. my S/O's is Maggie. I'm in Wisconsin, and she is in England. We met in a chat-room not looking for anybody, but just "found" each other in 2005. I went there for two weeks, and loved it. She is the one. She came here for two weeks and loved it. I did try for a fiancé's visa but that was denied. We had started the appeal but stopped that after Maggie came here to the states. We have sent in the K-1 in February of this year 2007. one month after that was in the mail she found out she has breast cancer. I am praying that I will get to go for two months to help her when she has her operation. I am a restaurant manager. She has her own dog grooming shop in England. I could go on and on but you will read more when we post, I'm sure. This site has a LOT of helpful suggestions and ideas. We both look at it every day. I just want to say thanks for the information that comes from here. Like I have said, "I think we ALL could write a book", I think Maggie's and mine would be under "Horror". But we will still fight until the day we are man and wife.

"Never, Never,,,,Never give up"

anybody else just feel like giving up? I have, but my love for Maggie keeps me sane

Best wishes that Maggie makes a full recovery, that the operation goes smoothly, and that you are able to be by her side for it. I'm sure your support will help her get through this. (F) Someday you will be married; hang in there and stick around VJ.

Why was the previous K1 denied?

Thanks Alex + R thanks for your kind words other then "welcome" I'm not really sure how to work this thing yet, please excuse. My fiance visa was denied to go to England under the grounds that I was in some trouble in the past with the law. All minor things. And while I was under the drink. I have changed and been clean and sober over five years now. And if this don't make a guy want to drink,,,heck, i don't know what would. But I have been homeless, and am not going that route again. I have "me Maggie" and am not going to lose her. And yes, we will be married. But why does it have to be so damn hard to get to your soul mate?

Oh, I see, you were denied a fiance visa for yourself to the UK so have decided to move Maggie here. I know this whole process is really no fun, to put it mildly, but as she's your soulmate, the payoff at the end is worth it. I know they make the process difficult to protect us from fraud and criminals, but from our perspective it seems quite ridiculous. I hope things on the bureaucratic end of things go smoothly for you and that you are able to find the help you need here. It might not seem like a bright side, but in the end I suppose it's best she's still in the UK because of the cost of medical care here for the uninsured (or the insured). Just hoping you can get over there to be with her in the meantime.
