I’m fed up with the time my visa is taking! This is frustrating 😩

You do know that immigration is neither fast, nor easy. Especially a US visa.  Shouldn't compare someone else's visa process to yours.

Did your husband promise you a quick visa when he married you?

Ask them.

And let us know so we can perhaps better explain.

Your husband being a doctor or a veterinarian has nothing to do with the processing time.

You are well within normal processing time.

The quickest way to drive yourself crazy is to compare the speed of your case to the speed of someone else's.

Don't drive yourself crazy.  All good things happen in time.

Of course hopefully the LPR hubby prepared his wife for the wait, I know I did.

While awaiting the CR-1 process, we kept each other informed on each step of the process, which made the process understandable (and easier on the overseas spouse). Not sure if OP has similar communications with her US-based spouse.

I think the problem here is that OP is comparing her case with a completely different type of visa, but she doesn’t know what type of visa she’s comparing to!

You're right!

I seem to have mixed up OP's other threads where she expressed frustration at the pace of progress in her f2a case.

You are frustrated and desperated to go to the US. Many of us are too.

Some families have been waiting for 14 years to get a VISA legally.

If you want a correct answer, you should ask her.

You cannot change or speed up your case.

The waiting time is so long, but when your PD is current, you will wish that you have more time to prepare.

Instead of feeling frustrated, you should focus now on your case, such as:

- Reading all the steps you need to do after getting Welcome Letter,

- Keep checking your case status to ensure that you got approval notice from USCIS.

- Then contact NVC so they can update your email  and send Welcome Letter to you.

- Build your proof for relationship (photos, facebook, friends, history and relatives of your husband) as well as your as your husband's financial status.

- Prepare all documents. Some people only realized that they lost birth certificate or their passport was expired when they sent civil documents to NVC.

Or they cannot get Police certificate as soon as they hope.

If you spend time to prepare all of that, you don't have to worry at all when you go to the interview, and face some challenge questions from the Consular Officer.
