My K1 paperwork was received April 3rd at the CA USCIS office (I'm the petitioner) . I know that this could take at least 5-7 months. Here are my questions:

- When the USCIS sends notifications,  will they contact me (the petitioner) or my fiance'?
- Will it be via email or regular mail?

- How will RFE's (if any) be communicated?

- Are RFE's issued later in the process or in the beginning?

I sponsored my fiance's B2 visa, she obtained a 10 year multi entry. On her last visit, the immigration agent told her to maximise her stay because the amount of time she's spent here.   She arrived in Feb and left in July for a total of 5 months. Since April of 2017, she's spent 9 total months in the US.

- Would you think she would be able to come back later this year or should we wait until 2019?

One last question...

- Are the processing times on the USCIS page just for their services or the complete K1 processing times?

Thanks everyone for your help. I hope your Visas go thru quickly!!!!

They will contact the petitioner, sometimes they will send notif by email 1st (but only somtimes) but they will send the official letter to the petitioner

- How will RFE's (if any) be communicated? regular mail.

- Are RFE's issued later in the process or in the beginning? dependson what evidence they needed, i.e  if you forgot to sign the form, it will issued on the beginning. but if it something related to the background checking on about your relations, could be issued later on in the process
