Hi Everyone,

My fiance and I are hoping to get our NOA2 in the next month to month and a half. I have a few questions about the process after for those who have been through it before/have the answers:

1) Can my fiance fill out his DS160 immediately when we receive the case # from the NVC?

2) Does the London Embassy mail him a letter with his interview date on it? Or does he select the date online after his DS160 is completed?

3) What is the average wait time for the interview? Like 3-4 weeks from paperwork arriving?

That's all I can think of for now, let me know if you have any insight!

thanks everyone!

1) yes because nobody is going to look at it until interview day.

2) he selects online

3) go read in the UK forum and follow the ones interviewing today, yesterday, next week.

1) Yes

2) They will mail a letter stating your ready to set up and interview but you schedule the interview not them.

3) London is pretty good about interviews. We scheduled ours as soon as our status changed from in transit from NVC. He scheduled his for a month away.

Does anyone know if we still have the option to choose if we want the passport delivered at home or somewhere else ? like a post office.

  • Home (or another address where somebody will receive)
  • DX depot you choose
