Withdraw from classes after biometric is completed

Should I inform my advisor about my decision to withdraw from classes because I'm waiting for my AOS interview? F1- student Married to USC

Why are you withdrawing? Did you only come here on an F1 to marry a USC or did something happen? You don't have to drop classes just because you're going through AOS. Finish your college education, it's the only thing that will give you a decent job in this country. Trust me.

 I already have a US degree. I have done CPT and OPT   . I was just going for a masters, but after filing the AOS I realized that i am not able to afford the masters program.

Well it's always good to have another status to fall back to if something doesn't go well with the AOS.

There is no need to maintain F-1 status. After terminating F-1 status you won't have legal immigration status but "authorized stay" allowed by the US Attorney General.
