Had our interview today in Bangkok. We got approved. Now my question is we opted for pick up of the passports. Does anyone know the time the embassy is taking to place the visa in the passports? Trying to get an idea for making plane tickets to the US.  Thank you VJers.

No one can give you specific answer. It is vary for each person. However, even someone can give you estimated time when you will receive it. Never buy a plane ticket until you have your Visa on hand. There is a case where the name printed out in the visa is wrong and need to be corrected up.
