Hi folks!

Im tired and probably pretty stupid right now... B-)

Can someone please tell me wich forms I need to include if I need a Co-sponsor (I-864A).

I-864 for the sponsor (my spouse), I-864 for the family member (Co-sponsor) and finally the I-864A for the family member (Co-sponsor)?

Am I thinking right? Really would appreciate your guys help!

hi

you don't specify who are the family member who will be joint sponsoring

i864 for your spouse as the primary sponsor, i864 for his joint sponsor, and the i864A for the joint sponsor's spouse if needed to combine income

Sorry, Im here on a K1-visa, im married to an american girl who is gonna sponsor me together with her dad since she or her dad doesnt meet the income requirements alone.

So my question is: is the I-864A only for the Co-sponsor (her dad) or do both sponsors need to fill that form out?

And also, as I understand it, both need to fill out the regular I-864. Am I thinking rigth?

Do you and your wife live in the same household as her dad? If so, you can combine your wife and dad's incomes by your wife doing an I-864 and her dad doing an I-864A. If you don't live in the same house, then you need another sponsor that meets the entire minimum income on his/her own with an I-864. You wife also has to do an I-864 no matter what.

btw I'm heading to Sweden in 2 days to visit my brother who is a LPR there.

Yes we live together with her dad at the moment, do I need her dad to do the I-864 also or only the I-864A?

Sweden is Amazing this time of year, were are you heading? Hope you get to enjoy the Swedish summer!

Your US citizen petitioner does the I-864 and her dad does the I-864A which will combine their incomes.

My brother lives and works in Stockholm. He also has a summer home in Högsjö, Sweden. Flight tomorrow to Stockholm. 2 week visit.
