Hi,
My case was filed on April 19, 2018 at the Vermont Center, yet I have not had any response from the USCIS, my lawyer said he is awaiting the USCIS response.
I wonder if anyone has waited for so long to get their O1.
Thank you!

Something isn't right. You usually receive your NOA1 quickly.  I'm wondering if it was sent or lost in the mail. You might try calling USCIS directly and perhaps look for a different lawyer or filing yourself. If you do have to resend, make sure you do through certified mail.

On the other hand:

How do you know it is at the Vermont Center and April 19? Are you referring to NOA2?

April 19 is the day that the USPS delivered my package at the Vermont center.
My lawyer said the check was cashed, but he still has not received the receipt number.

Somethings not right here. If the check was cashed, you should have received a notification, including case number. Did you sign up for email or sms notification of case status change? The only other option is to call USCIS or schedule an InfoPass appointment to get the case number.

Edit: Current processing times are 1-4 months. Current case dates are March 12, 2018. You should expect a response by next month, but your lack of notification is concerning.

How do you find out the current case date?

https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

The above website says:

The estimated time range for O visa is 1 Week to 2.5 Months at Vermont Service Center.

Its May 5th for your case. I don't know how to add images.

You select I-129, VSC. Then scroll down to the table with types/dates. click read more and the table extends with the info you need.

What??? How did you find this out? What now?

Thank you for your replies.
After a long time trying to get in touch with the lawyer I discovered that my case never went to the USCIS.

My lawyer robbed me :(

Because after four months without getting my receipt number, I called the USCIS and asked about my petition and there was nothing in my name. I also contacted Sag Aftra and AMPTP to find out when my advisory letters were requested, but no letter was ever requested on my behalf. Even the AMPTP official told me that they do not make any letters to them (people and company with which I was doing my O1 case). Because they reported having several problems with them. Now they have disappeared, no answer, no mail, no phone ... Nothing!
I will have to do it all again
