We did it!  Rose has a DFA appointment on Monday for her new passport.  It wasn't quite getting as bad as giving birth so I assume DFA will keep working on it!  Thank you @2018JNJ and Hank for the great direction and support.

That is great news!   Another step forward.  ;)

Good to hear!  Now I hope she has a bc the DFA will accept..it took 3 trips to DFA and 5 to PSA and municipality to get something that was acceptable.  Had to get a Form 1A.  Reminds me of home.

That should be just fine.  They will also want a PSA copy of the marriage certificate, but then that is the reason for the new passport ...

Which branch did she get the appointment?

She is well prepared for anything this time around. A Sean’s was the only local location that had any openings at all. Other locations showed some open days but none of the days had open times. She has already paid the fee and has the appointment confirmation email. She says the procedures have changed since the last time she did this.

Having to prepay with the appointment is the "new system" to combat fixxers stealing all the appt openings.  I think only the Aseana office is setup for this currently.

It seemed to work fine. The 7-11 knew what to do and the cost that DFA quoted was what she was asked to pay. She got the email as soon as she got the receipt from the clerk.

That is cool that payment can be done at a 7-11 even.   Now to get the rest of the offices onboard

There were a dozen places listed. It was pretty convenient. None were banks. I thought it strange that BPI and BDO were not on the list.

I think with BDO & BPI the payment option will be from within the online acct settings, not the bank directly.  (I know I can pay to PSA online)     Banks don't want to deal with non-customers.  ;)

My fiancee had a "blurred" copy of PSA...and the second and third copies blurry also..municipal copy was even worse. :jest:  So finally got around to getting a Form 1A.  Just more k's of php in travel and expenses..;)

Edit to add..my fiance is like me and never gives up. Once she sets her mind on something, she will persevere until she has what she wants or it gets done.  I love that quality in her.
