NVC sent case to wrong embassy

Hey all,

So I got an email today from NVC saying that they sent our case to the US Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. My fiance doesn't live there anymore, and we indicated on our i-129f that she is a citizen of the UK and would interview there. We also put her mailing address as the UK one.

So I called them and they said they just sent it out today and I need to call the embassy in SA when they get it to have it transferred to the London Embassy. I'll spare you my anger and frustration and just ask has anyone ever had to deal with the Saudi Arabian Embassy in transferring a petition? Is it easy? Do they require any docs or proof that she lives in UK? Just so when I call I can get it sorted easily

Thanks!
