hey everyone, I'm new to this, so bare with me.   I have a very long way to go. still waiting for my I-130 to be approved. received date April 2018.  USCIS and visajourney provide two different dates of processing time, which is only two month difference. but not to sure which is accurate.  Hubby will eventually have to travel to Guyana and of course I'm filled with a thousand questions.  Anyone still waiting on the first step to be approved?

if he will live in guyana for ore than 6 months, he will need both criminal reports (cuba and Guyana) for NVC stage

you still have a long wait 12 to 14 months for the interview

http://mypathtocitizenship.com/which-countries-are-on-the-uscis-high-fraud-list/

you will see by this site that Cuba is also a  high rcountry so be prepared by preparing him for an extensive interview /he must know everything about your life in the USA and your family

he needs to have  future plans for his life here (study or work)

good luck

Don’t worry about the 2 months conflict on the processing times, they are just for reference, nothing should be taken as accurate. You could be approved a several months earlier or lots of months later..Gud luck
