Hello everyone

I am have my flight next week to US. I am traveling with british airways, my fiance booked the flight for me, but they did not ask him for my passport number , only for my name and after that he got email with receipt number and ticket. Had anyone experience with that? Thank you

Your passport number is not required on airline receipt or ticket.

So  , that's fine . Because i heard some airlines ask for passport number or number on the visa

Some do some don't. Check with your husband if he filled out the APIS for you as well, otherwise you'll have to log on to the website and do that at least 24 hours before your flight. It's just a form with more information US customs want.

When you check in, you can supply this information. BA will scan the codes along the bottom of your picture page of your passport and the same codes from your visa. Takes a few seconds.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!

You can either fill it in on APIS on the website or show the docs at physical check in. If you check in online you have to fill it on the website. (This info is for BA specifically, I usually fly them. I always check in online so always do it on the website)
