Hi experts, and soon to be ex pats.

sorry if I am Covering old ground but I cant Find the exact answer to this question.

is it possible to submit your passport after (like about 2 weeks after) being approved at the embassy?

The reason I ask is that I have An important work trip and would like to have my interview, attend this trip and then submit my passport on my return for the visa to be inserted.

I know im probably trying to plan too much... but let me know your thoughts.

Yes you can. When you are ready you have to have the DX courier pick it up and take to the embassy.

For security reasons, all documents should be submitted via the approved courier service.  If you have been asked to submit your passport or any additional documents, you should log on to your account via https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb and print off a Courier-in Receipt.

I believe you can also go to the nearest depot and arrange for delivery to the embassy.
