How long was your visit? And how long were you approved for? Thank you.

Hi! I stayed for two weeks and then returned to the UK. I am on an ESTA so I had approval for the 90 days. I would have stayed longer of course but had to return to work. I head back tomorrow for another two weeks.

From Bristol UK to Colorado Springs, CO. Here's to adventure!

VWP is 90 days or nothing.

Thank you so much, it was much needed. I guess we all get used to this way of living at some point! I hope your journey goes as well as can be!

My fiance applied for a 4 month visa and was denied. Now he can't even travel on ESTA. It sucks for us at the moment. I hope and pray he will get his B2 so that I don't have to meet him outside the U.S. while waiting. You NOA2 is coming soon. Good vibes and positive thoughts your way as well.

That is a bummer.  Is he an Australian citizen?  Was he told why he was denied?

Yup, Aussie born and bred. Yea, we know why he was denied. My once Mr. Confident is now a nervous wreck. Sucks for us as travels cost so much just to be physically together. This time we are just asking for 2 weeks. Hopefully they don't give him a hard time.

I’m so sorry to hear this. We handle our stresses as well as we can but I can’t imagine how we would deal with any form of denial right now. I hope he gets the B2, and I hope you don't mind me following your journey, positive thoughts to you both.

Not at all. Only true love survives this journey. Love and strength to you and yours. And happy Monday.

So sorry to hear that.  I get that the stakes are high when the travel time and costs are off the charts.  Please let us know how it goes for him.

Thank you. Most definitely will. We are just thankful to be part of a community of people that undergo the same thing. Most people outside of this process just don't understand. Looking at your timeline, I feel a bit more optimistic. Some other countries have it bad.

Exactly!  I feel very lucky, given the stories I've read here on VJ.  I-129f petition approvals are moving much faster this year than last.  We unfortunately live in a jurisdiction that is extremely slow for processing AOS, but my husband has his EAD/AP, so at least he is working.

Just sharing my experience of crossing the US border recently.

We got our NOA1 on Apr 18, 2019, I (Russian alien fiancée) had to travel for work to the US on June 15, 2019 (NOA2 not received yet).

Crossed the border in Seattle Tacoma airport quickly with no problem.

Questions:

- Purpose of visit - Work

- Duration of stay - 9 days

Welcome to the US, stamp, go.

In case someone worries to much (like myself) ; I entered the US border in Fort Lauderdale the 14 th of june for a three week stay, without  a single question asked! It might had something to do with the enormous line of people waiting that day;) I was in the US two and a half month from late december to early march on my esta before that, so I kinda expected to explain something, but nothing! safe travels! ❤️

Hello,

I'm in a same sex relationship. My fiance has his interview on August 1st in the Dominican Republic. We have been talking for 1 year and 6 months. I have visited him once this past December and filed the I-129 form in January. We were approved off course, but now he keeps insisting that I should go with him to the interview because it will give him a higher chance of being approved. The problem is I am deeply afraid of flying. He tried getting a visitor's visa because of this, but was denied, which is why I had to fly there instead. I had not flown in 8 years prior to that due to my fear of heights. We have proof of our ongoing relationship, but I am not sure if that will be enough. I'm thinking about taking a plane from Orlando since it is the shortest fly time to the DR. I don't know what else to do. I've read the comments on country specific page and because it is a high fraud country, people say the petitioner should always be present. Just thinking about getting on a plane again gets me anxious. Gay marriage is not legal in the DR, which is why we're not married yet. I want him to come to the US. What are your opinions on this? And please don't just say take a xanax. What if I go see a doctor and send a letter as proof of my phobia?
