CEAC ‘Photographs’

As seen here in step three of this pdf guide, I’m getting a prompt to upload ‘Photographs.’

https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/PDF-other/Uploading to CEAC-instrucions.pdf

i didn’t think NVC required the passport photographs anymore, is it that? If so how exactly have people uploaded them? It seems redundant to upload more than one of the same digital file.

Forgive my confusion, we were 100% prepared until we realised we wouldn’t be paper filing!

This is a vague step, it had me scratching my head too because there were no instructions as to what they really meant. After seeing other VJ posts I uploaded a single passport-style photo (like you said, uploading 2 is redundant when filing electronically). It was accepted with no problem.

Thanks for that, I really appreciate the swift response!

Yes, upload one passport/visa photo of the foreign spouse.

I just submitted 2 identical passport photos and they accepted them. I'll have to bring them to the interview as well as other documents/photos, so may as well get it done now. I think some people have not uploaded them and just wrote a comment stating they would bring them to their interview.

I have one more question about CEAC if anyone’s still around? :)

My wife, the petitioner, is submitting I-864EZ, and all she’s being asked for is the form and the Federal Income Tax Return. Maybe it’s because we’re using the EZ form, or maybe because it’s CEAC, but this seems worryingly light, are we missing something?

We’ll add some pay slips and employers letter etc but we’d been expecting she’d need to provide more. The proof of petitioner’s US status, assets, her civil documents?

We were prepared to have to provide more than just a form and a tax return so we’re a little nervous about how little it seems to be asking for. Seems like all the pre-CEAC info everywhere doesn’t shed any light.

Thanks in advance!
