Medical is valid for 6 months in relation to the visa.

I don't know for fact if SLEC requires a repeat of the SPUTUM ... sorry.      (my gut says YES .. but then maybe it is just hunger ;)  )

Sorry I really don't know.   I have only known of a few that repeated their medicals but they did not have a SPUTUM issue.  :(

Everybody is in the same situation where the visa will expire 6 months after the first day of the medical

YMMV

Many have had to deal with short time periods for the interview after completing SPUTUM.

How old is you mom, as she will need a CFO sticker?    60 and over only need to register to get the sticker, all others need the seminar

It will be tight, but it can be done.   CFO only requires your mom to register (60 and over) to get the sticker.  Once she has her passport with visa, she heads over to CFO with the necessary documents (no appt) and leaves with the sticker.   All that is left after that is pack her bags and head to the airport.  ;)

Safe Travels for you mom
