I just got married on 3-15-07

Sent I-130 on 4-1-07

NOA1 on 4-11-07

Will be sending I-129f off on 5-14-07

When should i expect my wife to get an interview date?

She is in jamaica and my papers are in the Calif. Center.

Please let me know I am new to this site.

Transferred to CSC 5/28/07

CSC recieved (pending): 6/05/07

Touch: 8/13/07 on a Sun.?

Touch: 8/14/07 Getting Excited!!!

Visit my wife on: 9/30/07 thru 10/07/07

Called USCIS on: 10/10/07

NOA2: 10/10/07 (e-mail)

NOA2 Hardcopy: 10/16/07

NVC recieved: 10/20/07

NVC mailed out: 10/31/07

Consulate recieved: 11/02/07

Pkt 3 sent out: 11/04/07 NEVER RECEIVED

Visit my wife on: 11/11/07 thru 12/02/07

Picked up Pkt3: 12/27/07 and dropped it off the same day

Medical: 02/28/08

Interview Date: 03/11/08 @ 8:00 am (got blue sheet for not having proof of filed I-130)

Follow up appt.: 04/24/08 12:30pm .... they are saying its a 2nd interview (APPROVED)

K3 Visa recieved: 05-14-08

US Entry: 05-15-08

Applied for EAD 08-20-08

EAD NOA1 08-28-08

Check the Immigration Timelines section of VJ. Check for spousal (K3) I-29f petition processing at the CSC and separately check for K3 visa application processing at the consulate in Jamaica.

As far as CSC is concerned, right now it's taking about 90-120 days to get an NOA2. After that another 2-3 weeks for your petitions to make it to NVC. After that, it goes to the embassy and that's a different ball game for all counties.

CR-1

02/05/07 - I-130 sent to NSC

05/03/07 - NOA2

05/10/07 - NVC receives petition, case # assigned

08/08/07 - Case Complete

09/27/07 - Interview, visa granted

10/02/07 - POE

11/16/07 - Received green card and Welcome to America letter in the mail

Removing Conditions

07/06/09 - I-751 sent to CSC

08/14/09 - Biometrics

09/27/09 - Approved

10/01/09 - Received 10 year green card

U.S. Citizenship

03/30/11 - N-400 sent via Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation

05/12/11 - Biometrics

07/20/11 - Interview - passed

07/20/11 - Oath ceremony - same day as interview

You can see our timeline below, took us almost three months I think. It goes by faster than you think, but is still very hard to wait this long. Best of luck, I wish you a speedy approval.

Hi there yardie :thumbs:

I would say for Jamaica 9 months to a year!! Check out immigration timelines on top in the blue. Look for Jamaica and under CR1 and K3 timelines :thumbs: If you would like a great reading source on cases from Jamaica go to forums. Then go to regional you will find carribean click on that. Then there are 3 forums pinned at topped on is Jamaica called Yardies ect....... Lots of good inforamtion on the whole visa process there. Hope this helps!!
