hi everyone,i hope everyone is doing great.i came to the states on the k1 visa in june 22nd,2017.Got married in July 19,2017,applied for my adjustment of status in september.Got my work permit in november which is suppose to expire this november.i want to know how long it will take to get my green card and also what are the steps to take to renew my work permit as uscis advises we renew 150 to 120 days before the date of expiry.thank you

Are you also applying for advance parole? If yes add this

https://www.uscis.gov/i-131

 

Add copies of the previous approvals for the I-765 (& I-131) and also a copy of your I-485 NOA. This way you won't have to pay a fee. 

 

Add a total of 4 photographs and a copy of front & back of your current EAD card. 

 

If you do it yourself, read and re-read the instructions. 

 

I also included a cover letter with my packet.

You could be waiting up to another year.

passport photos. Cover letter is your i485 case #, A#, term ead was for why you renewing etc...

Earlier this year they changed timelines and some nyc offices got pushed to 2 years. They feared too many Asylum and Employment interviews. Update this past weekend its back to around 16 months as they figured out how to manage work load. So truly you should get it soon...prolly within 6 months.
