Would be a bad choice for democrats but I don't see what other options they have.

I may end up voting for Hillary in the primaries just to give Trump an easy win (Not that he needs it at this point). Seriously though has anyone heard about any proposed candidates that even have a snowball's chance in hell of beating Trump because I haven't.

Serious question here---speaking as someone who knows little about this stuff:

 

Why can't former presidents (who have served 2 terms) run again if they wished, and the people elect them for a 3rd term if they wish?

Curious as to what the reason is behind that---and as a side question, can a former president who say only lasted 1 term (and then lost the next election) be allowed to run again in the future?

The 22nd Amendment, which arose to prevent another Franklin D. Roosevelt scenario (4 terms).
