Which USCIS Service Center is allocated for an I-129F petition if it is filed by a US citizen from Grand Junction, Colorado? The package was received by USCIS on 02-July-2018 at the lockbox facility.

All 129Fs are processed at the California Service Center.

Thanks EanH0904 for your reply.

I read on the USCIS website that I-129F petitions can be transferred to any of the 5 USCIS service centers. Do you mean to say all the I-129Fs, irrespective of which state it comes from, are now processed by only California Service Center or I-129F petitions filed from Colorado are processed at California Service Center?

Thanks.

I-129f is not only used for k1 fiancé visa, some of these petitions for k3 for example may go to other centers (Texas for example)

this can of course change, however( I believe for the past two years) k1 petitions go to California service center (all gets the code used for California “wac”) regardless of where you live. There are lots of different petitions so the info you got is general.

some k1 petitions may get transferred (most likely Vermont) however these are usually cases with waivers or cases that needs criminal checks.

So if you applied for I-129f for fiance, it will go to California.
