We really don't know if he is a troll or not. We have answered his question in a way to open his eyes. It is all up to him if he want to be active in this thread. If he is a troll and he is lying and doing many posts and if that is his user name that is involved with the rest of the posts...then a Administrator should get involved with this thread, either delete it or ban him from VJ if he violated the terms of service.

Then why don't you just report him? Saying an admin should take a look doesn't make the moderators come here. You have to report it.

I don't report him because I did not say he is a troll and I don't know if he violated any terms of service. Read what I said. If you are in a level to to make such a decision and you have read the thread, then why dont you do something about it?

Where are you planning to live once your fiance/wife comes to the US? And how are you going to support her when you can't support yourself?

In the homeless shelter 😂

sorry I could not resist

If you live in a homeless shelter, how can you afford the immigration process? You’ll need visits, which cost a lot of money, you’ll need to pay immigration fees, which cost a lot of money. Also I’m pretty sure the fact that you’re living in a homeless shelter will be a red flag for USCIS and the embassy. If you yourself don’t have a place to live, how will you convince immigration officers that your spouse will never become a public charge? That’s a head scratcher there. I do t see this happening at all.

I dealt with this guy before - because we went through Jakarta and he was asking about a tourist visa.  Now he's claiming to be a USC?

LOL OP you really need to study this manual - then we're going to give you a short pop quiz.

I know it seems crazy but maybe he was asking about the tourist visa for his wife? Or maybe they share an account? We will find out if he decides to respond or not.

The questions about the tourist visa might've been for his wife/fiancée. She probably applied for it, was denied, and in December while he was visiting her they decided to do the IR1/CR1 (or K1) visa instead.

I think staying in a homeless shelter may be a problem immigration-wise simply because it's not permanent, it comes with requirements. If I were the OP I would just get my own place.

Alternatively he is indeed an Indonesian citizen who was trying to get a B visa, but now is in an online relationship with a usc living in a homeless shelter who he wants to sponsor him.

Good point. That could be it too. Either way he hasn't been exactly forthcoming.

This all sounds fishy to me.  You need a stable address and a job that will meet the K1 Visa and green card income guidelines.

If you are the petitioner, what makes you think your fiance is going to be happy with you if that person is already going to be experiencing an unstable environment when they come to America?

Best if you do not do this for now.  Get yourself out of the "system" with an apartment and a job then see what happens from there.

If that person who wants to come can find another way to immigrate, that would be the best thing.  You are in no position and it is not fair to the fiance that your life is unstable now.

My guess is that a rejection somewhere in the immigration process will occur and I won't be surprised.  It's one thing that you have an apartment and a job yet the income isn't enough for sponsorship, yet you can find sources to make the minimum income guidelines.  It is another when you are relying on public assistance.
