Fiance visa first cousin

Hey i applied for fiance visa and after 6 months i got a letter that they want approve that it is legal in California to marry your first cousin i went to the court marriage in san Diego they said they don't give approve so where should i get the approve?

you have to live somewhere where it IS legal.

 

or are you saying it is legal in CA but USCIS needs proof and the state won't give it?

if its the latter, find the penal code in state law and provide that to USCIS

It is legal in California for first cousins to marry.

You need to provide them with a copy of the California code that states this.

Please provide evidence that the state of California allows marriages between first cousins in order to establish that you and your beneficiaries will be able to conclude a legally valid marriage

This California code explains which marriages aren’t permissible according to State Law. First cousin marriages are not among the list and are widely interpreted to be legal in the state of California.

Yes in Germany first cousins can marry. My stepdad once joked with his cousin when she got married she looked so beautiful he almost married her himself.

I knew a woman once who's Husband and her were 1st cousins.  They were from Canada, and although it is not legal there at that time anyways, it slipped through the cracks.  Their kids were normal.  Some states will permit it "if" there is no chance of interbreeding.

Check the definition of interbreeding. I think you mean inbreeding. Immigrants aren’t different species!   lol
