Hi all,

I just picked up my passport back yesterday with K-1 visa...and I expected them to cancel my b1/b2 and c1/d visas, but they didn't.

I already saw how canceled visas look like, they put this HUGE stamp on a visa which says "canceled without prejudice".

But well anyway now I have 3 visas....so...I enter the US using K1...and can I then travel if I have b1/b2?  I don't understand now why they didn't cancel b1/b2 and c1/d visas and what does it mean...

I just read before that all other active visa types will be canceled and I didn't expect what happened.

Your other visa are invalid, trust me.

You CANNOT travel using your B2 visa anymore. Especially once you enter the US on K1 visa. Don't try to leave the country and come back on your B2 visa because you will NOT be admitted back.

If you want to leave US and be able to come back, you will need to file AOS and wait until you receive either travel authorization or green card.

09.2015 - Green Card received.

I am not 100% sure, but I don't think they will cancel the other Visas you have until you actually enter the US at the POE. Until you use the K1 visa the other visas will stay valid. But, could be they just overlooked it, but I am sure there will be someone else with more experience in this type of thing, but from other posts I have seen, that is how it works. I am 100% positive if you enter on a K1 visa, then leave the United States without the AP card in hand you won't be getting back into the United States, as they will assume you abandoned your petition.

Here on a K1? Need married and a Certificate in hand within a few hours? I'm here to help. Come to Vegas and I'll marry you Vegas style!!   Visa Journey members are always FREE for my services. You can have multiple visa's in your passport.

Presumably you will be entering on the K1 which is a single use visa.

If it does not workout and you subsequentlky want to visit you should be able to use your B.

You can have multiple visa stamps in your passport. However, you can only have one status at a time while in the US.  Just because there is no physical cancellation stamp on your other visas in your passport, it does not mean they were not cancelled.

And congratulations on getting your K-1.
