@emekus94 @Liflead @MikeMc

Thanks for your replies.

I read the document again and I mixed things up. It doesn't regard my K1 petition, but my J1 Visa Waiver. It's a single page document and on its top it says "Form I-797C, Notice of Action" so I immediately thought it was about the K1 process.

I got a favorable recommendation (for the waiver) on Sep/09 and only now I received. It makes sense now.

I apologize for the misunderstanding. Thank you for your thorough answers!

thank you!

I feel like the officers from CSC are moving a little faster recently,

so let's stay positive!

Lately, many Fiance visa applicants have received their NOA2 in like 160 to 170 days unlike the usual minimum 180 days which means USCIS is adjudicating the petions faster. :) Hope ours come faster too.

Hi everyone, we filed in July 2018 and received NOA1 on July 16, I am very excited I check the processing times and NOA2's a few times a week.

I am really excited, I hope we will receive NOA2 in late December :) 160 days from July 16 -> Christmas Eve..wouldn't that be the best present ever?!

Anyone else finding it hard on the heart and mind to be the one waiting to immigrate?

I am currently not working in my career field because of my plans to immigrate, so I picked up a job at a local mall in retail to fund a 2 month vacation solo in the tropics while I wait for my interview (supposed to be March/April if I calculated right). I am not enjoying my work at all, being in life limbo like this is depressing sometimes, but it will all be worth it to sit on a beach in 2019 with a NOA2 in hand, knowing I am on my way to better things and the love of my life.

Good luck to all!

Enjoy the warm weather and the time to yourself.

And while you are on vacation look in some of the beach stores and see if you can find snow shoes and snow board. You're going to need it where you are going. :rofl:

We are NOA1 2018/06/29 old website and 2018/07/05 new website. Could be either LOL. My fiance is coming for Xmas and stays till 12th Jan, so we will be busy anyway. But greetings from USCIS will beat all the presents, if that is the case
