The above is the new website address - you can make an account and then every time you log in to check, it will email/text you a one-time verification code to enter.

Only thing I ever saw on there was we received your petition on 12/20/2017. And on the new website it says they received my petition on 12/26/2017. So who knows why the new site has a different date, but I know a few other people that said the received date is different on each site. But I would rely on the new site, not the old because I never have seen that update even once.

Congratulations!

Both dates (Received Date and Notice Date) are printed on the I-797C NOA1 notice mailed to petitioners.

Apparently the old website displays the Received Date and the new website displays the Notice Date, so that is what leads to the confusion.

My assumption is the the Received Date is the date that USCIS recorded receipt of the I-129F application and the Notice date is the date that the NOA1 was printed for mailing.  I imagine any time between the two dates is used by USCIS for preliminary processing including confirmation of fees are paid and the form is properly signed.

Looks like it's legit, here is the image from my USPS informed delivery email this morning. I really like this service from USPS, and recommend it.

Congrats!!! I know I almost fell out of my chair when I saw my approval. What a wait, but still a long way to go, but it's these little things that keep me going, I can't wait to have all the boxes checked on my timeline, that will be the best. I will probably screenshot it ,print it, and frame it in full color, maybe even poster size on my wall.

I know @Greenbaum told me about this the other day, I am waiting my identity verification in order to get mine going.

@Loren Y did you sign up for email or text case status update? Was wondering if you got either one of those as well???

I signed up for both on the old website and never heard anything from them. I can't remember if I signed up on the new website, I am going to check that now, but nothing from the old website. I just checked the new website and I am signed up for both email and text notifications but I haven't received either of them. So, guess it's best just to check every so often for updates. Maybe someone else on here can post if they received e-mail or text notifications from the new website.

I registered at the new website about 4 months ago. You create a profile with your NOA1 number, and it will save it to your profile. I guess you can track multiple cases if you want. You know you are using the new site because it always does a secondary verification when you log in. I always have it text me an access code. So after you get registered and your profile set up, you don't need to enter your number from the NOA1 again. Then I was just logging in once a week starting about 3 weeks ago. And like I said, I just happen to log in on Friday instead of Monday, and saw my status had changed. I went to check the old site that I signed up for as soon as I got my NOA1 back in November, and I set up email and text notifications but have never heard anything from the old website. Only thing I ever saw on there was we received your petition on 12/20/2017. And on the new website it says they received my petition on 12/26/2017. Hello!

I can't understand what is a new website and what is the old? Can you help me and send a link? Thanks a lot!
