At one time I saw that my Canadian fiancé needed a police certificate and now I cannot find that anywhere. Is that something that is needed for the K1 Visa?

Yes most definitely!!! Especially if either of you listed an offense, in my case a misdemeanor way back in 2001.  So I had to get court and police records from the aresting party (confusing for me cuz I’ve always lived in a county Sherrif area)  so even if no record of any kind they will want to see the clean police or Sherrif or Mounty report showing clean with a certified stamp like notarized here

Neither of us registered an offense.  Neither of us have ever been arrested.

Do you need it with the I-129F or at a later date?

He'll need it for his interview once you have your NOA2 your application goes to the national visa centre, from there it goes to the US embassy in his country, they will then send him a packet of items required for interview, the police report is one of those items.

Good, so you just need the enhanced Police report showing you have never been arrested
