Hey everyone -

I have a quick question. My husband has his interview at the embassy in Cairo next month and I'm trying to plan my travels there. I would love to be there for the interview, but I can't take too much time off work here in the U.S.

How long did it take you between your interview and actually receiving your passport back via Aramex?

Thanks!

That depends you going to interview is a great support still when he will get the visa depends on how interviews go on if they didn't request anything and he got approved you can expect two weeks , if they needed from him something more and still approved like my friend that might exceed month or more .

my friend pass the interview but the consular asked him for police clearance from previous resident country in Austria and he had to get that when he sent it from month now and he is in that administrative process .

I am planning to put my pickup for Aramex in nearest branch to Embassy i can go and pick it up from the branch instead that will save day or two.

Got it. When you registered the Aramex office, how did you find the address? Their website is not helpful at all. For instance, how to find the state and postal code? I want to do the same thing - pick it up at an office near the embassy. Can you tell me the address you chose?

The big variable of course is AP, an unknown.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
