My wife is a US Citizen and we got married in 29 dec of 2017. she submitted the file in jan 2018, now last week we have received letter for approval of petition. Can any body guide us what the approved and what step will be the next. how much time they take more.....

Right now you just wait because the petition will send to NVC and they will contact you for the next steps.You can take a look at this link:

you will get updated that it was sent to NVC or DOS and it can take a week , you will need call NVC to check if they received your case from USCIS  if not then u will need to call uscis and ask for the date they sent .

 

you might be in wait for more than three weeks to get case number in NVC but mean while you can start preparing the papers needed.
