In the one hundred questions and answers that we have to learn some of them have several answers on them for example:

 

What stops one branch of government from becoming too powerful?    - Checks and balances  - Separation of powers

 

Both are correct but its easier to remember one of them.  Are we expected to remember both answers for questions that don't ask for one or two responses in the structure of the question?

Just one. What I did is print the 100 questions form that you can download on the USCIS website and with the correction tape cover all those that have more than one answer. With that, i will only focus on the answer i want to remember, that's one easy way.

I hand wrote the questions on one side of a set of note cards and wrote the answers on the reverse of each card, I'd already chosen my preferred answers, like you, but as my confidence with the answers grew so did my paranoia that I wasn't doing it right.  Glad to know you don't have to remember all the nitty gritty details.    This is hard enough when you're an English speaker I can imagine how onerous this is for people for whom English is a second language.  Thanks again for setting my mind at rest, much appreciated.

Wife did her biometrics this morning. Her appointment was at 11am and took 1 hour, but this was mainly waiting as there were some 30 people ahead of her. 

 

Our "estimated" completion date has shorten to January 2020 (16 months).

My wife did her biometric appointment yesterday and today she received a notification, they reviewed her biometric. There is nothing for her to do at this time as they continue reviewing her case and if they need anything else they will contact her. No interview date yet. What is the waiting time from biometric appointment to interview date? Do anyone know?

Hi everyone,

 

I filed on 8/30 and did my biometrics on 9/19. It seems I might be the only one on this thread with the longest estimated processing time(25 months). I filed online and I live in the Dallas area, it seems my paperwork was sent to NBC processing center and I’m not sure if this is why there’s a long processing time. I’ve been a green card holder since 2002.

My processing time went up after my biometrics(20 months to 25 months) unlike everyone here says theirs went down. Has anyone experienced similar estimates?

I did receive an email about an action on my case was done and when I logged in, it simply says that no action is needed on my part(assuming this is waiting for the interview letter).

Good morning fellow vjers, 

 

I need some help!! Me and wife just filed her citizenship along with my step daughters citizenship as well.  My wife went to the dmv to renew her license and they put the expiring date of the green card which is 11/11/2018. Now that is basically the last day my wife can drive legally. Please help guys what should we do in the situation. Do I have to file for the green card renewal as well?
