Hi! Has anyone noticed that when you file online and answer the questions not all the questions show up in the PDF Case Snapshot that you download? We answered everything online, but it doesn't seem to synch up with the paper version very well. I don't know if that is because I filled it out on a MAC? I am a bit concerned because I do not want them to say that parts are missing. I know others have had this as well but not everyone.

Any thoughts or info on this?

Yes, I noticed that too. Lots of information will be missing on the final N-400 snapshot. And it has nothing to do with Mac. That's how the system works at this moment. I believe all missing info can be added/edited during the interview.

Had my biometrics on Thursday, it was uneventful. They gave me a booklet and audio CD regarding the naturalization test.

My online case status updated shortly after and estimated completion moved from August 2019 to July 2019.

Don't feel bad, we're at 18 months currently. What did show before your biometrics appointment?

I had my biometrics appointment today and it was really quick, arrived at 7 am just when they opened and had to wait until 7:30 until they opened the doors for the section where they took the fingerprints. They've given me the book but no CD, now i just have to wait to see the update on the website, hope the wait gets shorter!

What number is in the top right of your biometrics letter under the field called ‘code’.  This determines what prints they needed to take. Mine was code 3 which is all fingers. (I was reading about it on the piece of paper they gave me while waiting to be called up)

Mine was code 5. I guess that would only mean the minimum required fingerprints?

Where are you from?

I am from Juneau, so I am really hoping that both the interview and oath happens on the same date. If I would have to go back and forth, I'd be pissed lol

Just googled it, and yes :)

  • Code 1 – fingerprinting only (10 prints);
  • Code 2 – biometrics (photo, signature and index finger);
  • Code 3 – fingerprints (10 prints) and biometrics (photo, signature and index finger).
  • Code 5 – one-hand fingerprints (4 prints on one hand), photo and signature.

I wonder how they determine who is what code; maybe they consider me a security threat? Lol.  I was code 3 for my ROC biometrics too!

Unfortunately  I heard most of them will be scheduled on another date. I’m just grateful we got to get the date.   I used to live in southeast Alaska too and recently move back so  I hear your pain.

I think that's what's been happening lately, too. I have a friend who was told to return a week after she passed her interview, even when there was an oath ceremony on the date of her interview. She was told that there weren't any slots left for her. Ugh, so annoying, but you are right, I am just glad that I immediately received an interview date! It's just that flying back and forth can be expensive, especially during the winter!

I called USCIS today, and they said that although it is possible, it's just not guaranteed to have same day oath. I don't know. I am just keeping my fingers crossed.
