Did you guys include speeding tickets from more than 5 years ago? I only ever had one about 6 years ago, and remember that we didn't have to include this on the I-485, but do you have to here? I also have no records of the citation anywhere, so not sure how to prove anything?

 

Has anyone ever corrected an N-400 form filed online?

I had mine from 3 years ago, and I included it. If you have no records, you can contact the city or county in which you were ticketed. I had to call a rural county 2 hours away to send me a record. Paid $6 but hey, it's better than lying about it. Besides, the question said if you EVER. ;)

Also, estimated case completion time changed from July 2019 to May 2019.

It seems (from all the threads I've been reading) that the message you got means you're in line for interview.

I applied 8/29, and on 9/1 received the notice that my Biometrics has been scheduled, but I have yet to see a letter on the documents tab, and I haven't seen anything in the mail yet either (USPS sends me a snapshot of incoming mail every morning). My blood pressure can't take this for much longer. 😂😂

Some people have reported that bio letter was never uploaded online for them. They received a hard copy in the mail eventually.

Thanks so much, guys! Cannot believe I misread that. I remember we did not have to include traffic incidents on the I-485 and I guess I was still on auto pilot from that more than 3 years ago! 

 

I will do my best to ask for records from the court even though I know I don't have to. It was just traffic school and a fine. If I cannot get the records, I guess I will just have to settle for an approximate date when asked at the interview.

 

I am wondering if uploading a statement now as an additional file might be helpful.

They probably do, you just have to remember where you got your ticket. You can request that they send you the disposition and a receipt to prove you have paid your fine. Mine was a fine of only $90, but I still managed to get a disposition (certified, too!) and a copy of my receipt. They might be a little huffy about it considering how long ago it was, but I'm sure they are more than able.
