Single girl applying for B2 visa with her parents... what are my chances?

It's not particularly a chance-based process. The 2 refusals only a year ago is going to be the biggest sign of what to expect this time, sorry.

Presumably you were denied in the past due to 214b (immigrant intent). If so, having a new reason to visit isn't a significant change in circumstances...they are looking for reasons to compel you to leave the US, not reasons to visit.

The new job is likely a wash at best IMO...if it's a more stable, decent-paying job requiring you to be in the country then that's a plus. But only 7 months of employment is a negative.

But the only way to know for sure is to try. I wish you the best.

We have seen instances before on this forum of a family grouping applying together, with some being approved and some being denied. If your parents can show acceptable proof of ties, they may be given visas but you may be denied yet again. It’s not about why you want to travel to the US, it’s about what makes you go home.

On your job... if you have a degree and a clear professional path on a career, it makes you more likely to go back home or at least less likely to stay illegally. You mention working for a respectable company but no indication of what kind of job you do ...example:  a senior manager is more likely to get a visa than a cleaner from the same company.

Unless you have a VERY strong ties to your country, your chances are slim to none. I would say there's a 0.001% that you will be granted a tourist visa. You're not a tourist, and there's no guest visa. Ask your brother to meet you in a third country, for example Mexico or something.

Mainly because we are in no hurry to get married. We will get married in the future when the time is right.

Does everyone HAVE to get married?

No.. plenty of singles the world over are approved for B visas..

..but with all due respect, you initiated this thread with an emphasis on your having a boyfriend whom you're in a long-term relationship with for some years.. all in the first sentence.

Then again, he has a decent paying job in the medical field so maybe that helped?

Yep! That pretty much sums it up why he was able to get approved.

If you want to see your brother, is there any reason he can't come visit you for a while? That way you avoid the probable denial of the B2 and he can see all three of you for the cost of one airline ticket.

Seems the best bet

Yeah, I understand but I really don't have any intention to live there as an illegal immigrant. Sounds like a really rough and scary life.

And I have discussed regarding vacation leave with my employers and they are willing to grant it.

On a side note, my childhood male friend's visa recently got approved along with his family. He too is unmarried, has not traveled to any other countries before and is traveling to the US to meet his brother. Then again, he has a decent paying job in the medical field so maybe that helped?

So why are you asking for peoples opinion as to whether or not you will get a visa?  You seem to have all the answers.  No matter what anyone says you have a rebuttal comment.  Go for it!  I am 90% sure you will get a refusal again but keep us posted.  Whether you have or do not have any intent to stay illegally in the US does not matter.  It is irrelevant.   What matters is what the CO thinks.  And the CO is going to think you are desperate to get to the US with a third application in about 1 years time.

A 3rd try within such a short time will very likely turn into a third denial. Your case did not change too much since the last time you tried. And also they don't care if you travel with your parents or with your dog. They will probably think you are just "using" your parents to get the approval. Besides you are an adult, a 29 year old woman so hardly they will give you the visa because of your parents. The visa is on your own merits. Not on who you travel with.  You can always try but if you get another denial, then you will have to stop trying to get visitor visa for at least another year.

I would suggest show documents that reflect your tying knots to your home country. Some examples are:

1. letter from your employer stating your designation, leave application details and assurance that you will resume work on a given date

2. Salary Bank account statements

3. Shares, stocks, FD's

4. Family and extended family in India

5. Property papers, if any

6. In case of any medical history, reports reflecting your immediate doctors and treatment needs to be done in India

Basically anything that assures USCIS that you are not somebody who will stay back illegally on B2 visa in the USA.

good luck!

Unusual for paper work to be requested.
