EAD and AOS

i heard there was a way you dont have to pay the EAD fee, while doing the adjustment of status for the k1 visa? Is this true or do you have to pay both the EAD and the AOS?

Both EAD and/or AP are free if based on a concurrently filed or pending AOS. I'll post as replies below my EAD and AP cover letters for reference.
