Vaccine Requirements and Records for Canadian Citezen

My husband is Canadian and 43-years-old. I have two questions:

1) What vaccines for his age/demographic are required for the medical exam?

2) If he gets those shots done at his GP will the records from the GP be sufficient to bring with him as proof at the medical? ( I have been told they are substantially cheaper to do with the GP than at the medical exam)

Thank you.

For #2 yes ..mine was done 10 years ago but I went and did a blood titre test (think thats the spelling) and needed a booster of one of them took the paperwork with me and was good.

As for which ones I couldn't say I had a list of them but cannot remember where I got it

From my memory (and it's been a while for me, too):

TDAP (Tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis)

MMR (measles, mumps, rubella)

I didn't go the CR-1 route, so not sure if that makes difference....but back then, and this was over 10 years ago...My doctor just scribbled the vaccines and past dates and put "taken at my office" on a prescription pad instead of using an official form....it worked when I took that to the USCIS-approved doctor, and he just copied down the info and gave it back to me, but I guess they weren't that stringent back then as they are now in terms of "official" documentation lol

I would suggest perusing the Canadian section of these forums, might find some info there on the medical exams.

He needs tdap and MMR. (And flu between oct and may) His gp can do a titre test to see if he has immunity for mmr.  Unless hes had a tdap or td vaccination in the last 10 years he should probably just get it.

Generally speaking the local health clinic /travel clinic will do the vaccinations. They're free if he needs them.
