Based on the validity date of your visa, check your passport and review the visa once your interview is completed and you have received your passport from your Embassy and that date is the last date you can enter the country on your K-1 visa. After expiration date the visa or the day you process at your POE your K-1 visa is DEAD. When you pass through immigration they will stamp your passport with a "551" stamp that allows you to remain in the US while processing your marriage and the AOS.

Its just keep saying invalid  i dont understand.

Because you are looking it up under "non-immigrant" and it is a "immigrant" visa till such time as you are approved then it switches back to "non-immigrant" status with immigrant intent.

track your case and wait for it to change the status to "ready", also look for an email from the consulate. they will give you instructions on the next steps

When you get your NVC letter you'll see the numbers and each of the children will have your case number but followed with 02 second child 03 etc. If you need help let me know. I had 2 K-2's and they are just as easy as your case.

ok, call three more times and they told me that The fiance and the children have the same case number, and that this is the case for this type of visa. and then they sent me the letter and there is only one case and it says. Principal beneficiary Bi .....and everythinelse . Just let you know .

If you scroll backwards from tab to tab and look for other Filipinos you'll see where I have given this information out a few times. I'm on the road and don't have access to to my files.

Anyone still waiting for the NVC status to change to 'In Transit'? Digging deep into the CEAC site, I notice the last one that says in transit has Case number assigned 08/15/2017 - MNL2018727045 to be exact. After that '046' says  "at NVC".

I was approved on July 30, my case was received and case assigned on August 15 but my status still says "at NVC" some people that got their number after already have "ready" status. idk why. this sucks. i already checked alot of other case numbers and i think they don't mail out in order. at least not for brazil :(

I hope they still change today up to tomorrow. Maybe their site it still being updated and it is done all at once?
The others you mentioned, what day did they get their Case number? I'm thinking their timeline shows the day they found out but not exactly the day it was assigned meaning it can be earlier?

Case 'in transit'

We are going through London. I have my medical booked for 25th September. Do I need to do anything now or just wait to hear from the consulate? Do they send me anything to say what to do next or do I book the interview once it says 'ready'?

I also remember seeing a form to fill out online and pay fees? Do I need to do that before I book the interview?

Thanks!

My case was received 8/9 and case # assigned 8/13, it has updated to in transit yesterday 8/21..not sure what the cut off is but the good news if your case didn't go out this week, then it will in 2 weeks...be patient, we waited for months for USCIS, NVC is probably the fastest in this process

The people i have talked to were approved july 31 and August 1 and their case were received  august 16 and august 17 (cases assigned as well) and their packets were mailed out already.  i was approved before and got my number before but yet i was forgotten. i wonder how they decide which packets to mail out.
